Moving forward from tradition
I play the Asturian gaita with respect for tradition and curiosity for what comes next. I compose, record and edit my own work; I research repertoire, organology and the crossing between oral tradition and contemporary production.
Each release is a small hypothesis: how the gaita sounds when you let it breathe outside the cliché.
