The XIBLA is a gaita learning flute, 3D-printed at Tever's CHALGA workshop, tuned in C major and sharing the Asturian gaita's fingering, designed to learn finger technique before buying a full gaita.
The XIBLA is a gaita learning flute, 3D-printed at CHALGA, Tever’s workshop. It reproduces the fingering of the Asturian gaita and is tuned in C major, so that what is learned on it transfers directly to the full instrument.
It is neither a miniature gaita nor a toy: it isolates the melodic pipe —the part where learning the fingering begins— from the bag and the drone, so a beginner can focus on finger technique first.
